Sales Representative
Do you have sales experience within the agriculture, logistics, quarrying, recycling, construction, industrial, or waste management industries? Are you skilled in providing excellent customer service and one-time purchase sales? Can you understand and explain technical products to customers?
Location of the Job:
Office based with travel to all points of the UK. East of England.
Salary and Benefits Package:
* Circa £35,000 basic salary depending upon your experience.

The Job Role Details:
Due to natural progression of the business, we are now looking for a Sales Representative to join the team and help drive the growth of the company. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and sales skills, along with strong industry experience within one or more of the following sectors: agriculture, logistics, quarrying, recycling, or waste management. Products are generally a one-time purchase that lasts for decades. This position is not based around repeat sales to the same customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Win customer orders, liaise with customers, and hand over customer order details internally.
* Your products will include mechanical, electronic, and software as a complete solution.
* Discuss technical requirements with colleagues in order to correctly inform customers.
* Review and keep up to date with customer enquiries.
* Create customer quotations - this will involve standard pricing and dedicated costings.
* Organise and attend industry shows and exhibitions.
* Provide input and content for social media, website, and other company literature.
* Communicate with and organise advertising with trade publications.
Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…
* Agricultural, logistics, quarrying, recycling, construction, industrial, or waste management background.
* An understanding of UK farming practices - particularly arable. However, other sectors will also be considered.
* Able to converse with customer management and staff alike, e.g. farm owners and farm staff or haulage owners and drivers.
* Able to undertake site surveys with photos and measurements to be saved with the customer file.
* Recent proven success on new product sales of medium to high value capital equipment without reliance on repeat business.
* The ability to understand technical requirements and product capabilities.
* Computer skills for updating details onto the company systems.
* Organised, excellent communication skills, and customer focused.
* Able and willing to work extra hours as and when required.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
