Speech and Language Therapist
BAND 5
Term time (190 days) + 4 weeks
5 days per week (37.5 hours)
Pro-rata salary: £27,588 - £33,584 per annum

Wargrave House School (ages 5 – 16) & Ascent College (ages 16 – 25) operate a non-maintained special school and independent specialist college with an excellent reputation for delivering outstanding education and care to young people with Autism. We are the first national provider to receive Beacon status from the National Autistic Society.
An opportunity has arisen for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist who wishes to develop their skills in this interesting and challenging field, to join our team. This role is to work predominantly with Ascent College students but offers opportunity to work within Wargrave House School also should the successful candidate have an interest in this area.
Are you dynamic, committed and flexible with an interest in working and developing skills in a specialist well resourced setting?
Do you the ability to complete assessments, facilitate 1:1 and group sessions to develop expressive and receptive language skills?
Do you have experience of, or passion for working with autistic individuals and/or children or adults with learning disabilities?
Would you like to be involved in promoting independent autistic lives in an education setting?
