A materials planner manages the logistics of a company's materials and inventory to ensure that the company has the materials it needs to produce its products. They are responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, from acquisition to disposal

Your role:
Based at our Ross on Wye Head Office the successful candidate will support the finished goods planning of in-house production and brought in merchandise, to ensure supply capability and supporting the Window Division to reach their production and strategy targets, enjoying a varied role with duties including:
• Demand determination, order triggering, goods receipt and inventory monitoring;
• Invoice management for purchased items and delivery date management;
• Troubleshooting for delivery problems;
• Creation of reports for active customer communication;
• Participation in technical, conceptual and operational control of the scheduling process;
• Participation in implementation of target processes, as well as screening and, if necessary, optimisation of existing logistics and disposition processes;
• Define the minimum stock quantities in coordination with internal colleagues
Your profile:
The successful candidate will have:
• Previous SAP implementation experience or experience with APO module(essential);
• Familiarity with SAP language and system architecture / data flows;
• Exposure to change management and AS IS : TO BE Modelling – gap analysis;
• Experience in data sheet/data management;
• Experience in a similar industry, preferably construction, process industry or FMCG;
• The ability to travel abroad for training.
