The Opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned expert Global PR Manager to join the Dr. Barbara Sturm team, to work directly with the Global Head of Communications, and the growing Global Marketing team in London.
What you'll get to do
1. Support the execution of the global communications strategy for both the Corporate Brand, Dr. Barbara Sturm personally, the molecular cosmetics portfolio and Dr. Barbara Sturm Spa's globally - as well as leading on global campaign delivery.
2. Create a global PR calendar for new launches, brand events and collaborations, liaising with all local teams and VIP fixers.
3. Deliver global growth across Earned Media, working closely with the Global Marketing, Paid and Owned Brand Channel Leads to support the overall brand and business objectives.
4. Act as a brand guardian ensuring all third-party agencies and suppliers are delivering against the brand's global values and pillars, creating strategically aligned content and earned media.
5. Drive the brand and DBS authority, expertise, science credentials, and overall brand awareness, further positioning Dr. Barbara Sturm and Dr. Barbara Sturm Skincare as the market leader in anti-inflammatory prestige skincare.
6. Build strong personal relationships with key global VIP beauty, fashion lifestyle press across digital and print titles, to continue to drive brand loyalty and relationships. Day to day media relations / press office work to be fulfilled by the agency.
7. Deliver global brand equity campaigns, as well as 360 product campaigns, working to continually recruit new customers to the brand whilst also driving increased AOV and replen.
8. Utilise your knowledge, contacts and experience with a data and consumer insights lens to create fresh-thinking and activations that dominate coverage and sales, both for DBS; key regional doors and .com.
9. Ensure the DBS brand is entered into global leading and credible industry awards.
10. Generate best-in-class coverage on a continual basis is achieved using Global Toolkits. Work closely with Creative team to ensure Comms Critical Paths are met.
11. Support on writing and updating of press materials.
We'd love to meet you if you have
1. Extensive experience in premium skincare, and experience in pulling together or executing from global toolkit documents, ensuring consistent approach, tone of voice and alignment in localised executions.
2. Extensive background in communications strategy.
3. Experience in Earned Media measurement and analytical reporting.
4. Enthusiastic, passionate and self-motivated.
5. Ability to work under pressure and enjoy aligning multiple stakeholders in one key vision.
6. Ideally you have corporate brand experience and experience in trade and consumer press management for both B2B and brand equity press feature placement and management.
