Role Responsibility: MECHANICAL SITE SUPERVISOR Salary: £47,000 - £49,000 per annum Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Various shifts Location: Churchill Hospital, Oxford, OX3 7LE G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Mechanical Site Supervisor (Gas and Medical) on a full-time, permanent basis based in Oxford. We are looking for a talented individual who is agile and has excellent communication skills. The role involves supervising the site team in all site HFM matters and providing the AP function in the operation of medical gas and ventilation maintenance, remedial, reactive and project work packages in accordance with the standards. Responsibilities Effectively plan and undertake maintenance, project, reactive and remedial work within scope. Deal effectively and safely with reactive breakdowns, prioritising tasks in line with the payment mechanism. Create RAMS and SSoW for work undertaken within remit. Review and create maintenance reports and technical procedures for Building Maintenance Activities. Supervise a team to carry out maintenance, inspection and repairs to various types of systems including ventilation and medical gas equipment and services on site. Supervise the diagnosis of faults on systems within scope and rectify where necessary and within their range of qualifications, levels of competence, training and experience. Assist in the development of maintenance routines, procedures, risk assessments, preparing and maintaining relevant technical records. The Ideal Candidate: Essential Mechanical core trade discipline. Ability to undertake training and be appointed as APVENT and APMGPS. Experience of building and facilities maintenance in a healthcare setting. Understanding of how to motivate a team.
