Salary: £24, - £24, pro rata (£12.40 - £12.65 per hour)

About the Role
We have a vacancy for a Support Worker based in Bathgate. As a key worker we expect you to establish positive relationships and offer practical and emotional support, you will be responsible for completing support plans and risk assessments with the people who use our services, who experience severe and enduring mental health problems.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a mature and caring attitude and possess excellent listening and communication skills. Experience of working in the field of mental health or social care is desirable but not essential, as full induction will be given. Whatever your background, a flexible caring approach combined with good practical skills will be essential. Due to the wide area our service covers, access to you your own transport would be beneficial. Our service currently operates Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm and you should be flexible in the hours you are available to work.
