About the role
The School of Education is currently seeking Academic Tutors. We are particularly interested in Academic Tutors who could support the design and delivery of PGCE with QTS courses.
We are looking for Academic Tutors from a range of subject specialisms, including:
Secondary PGCE:
* Physics - 70 hours
* Computer Sciences - 90 hours
iQTS - Secondary:
* Drama/Performing Arts - 40 hours
* Citizenship Studies - 40 hours
* Visual Arts - 40 hours
* Spanish - 40 hours
* Maths - 40 hours
* Physics - 40 hours
* English for Academic Purposes - 40 hours
Assessment Only to QTS: Assessors required at 8 hours per student:
* Primary Education - 8 hours
* Secondary - Drama/Performing Arts - 8 hours
* Secondary - Citizenship Studies - 8 hours
* Secondary - Visual Arts - 8 hours
* Secondary - Spanish - 8 hours
What you can bring
The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification or, in exceptional circumstances, have significant experience as a practitioner within schools/colleges, within the relevant discipline.
