Materials Handler/FLT Driver

Location: Gloucester

Pay: £26,550

Contract Type: Perm

My client, a dynamic organization, is looking for a FLT Driver/Materials Handler to join its team in Gloucester. The successful candidate will work across diverse, high-impact industries such as aerospace, defence, and high-performance automotive. Responsibilities include moving materials around the factory and general housekeeping to contribute to smooth operations within the factory.

Key Responsibilities - FLT Driver

1. Moving stock (WIP & finished goods) to the relevant departments.
2. Emptying waste skips.
3. General housekeeping.
4. Loading & unloading lorries.
5. Pre-use forklift checks.
6. Loading waste collections.
7. Forklift driving.

Qualifications & Requirements - FLT Driver
1. Previous experience in manufacturing is preferred but not essential.
2. Ability to multitask and manage company requirements.
3. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
4. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
5. In-date FLT license will be required.
6. PLEASE NOTE: Due to some contracts you will be required to pass a DBS check.
