Area Sales Manager Do you have a proven track record in achieving budgeted sales turnover and gross margins in independent accounts, wholesale and national accounts in the homewares industry? Can you analyse account data, review and present back to internal and external stakeholders? Have you opened new business opportunities within key independent? MacGregor Black are partnering with a global market leading housewares brand, on the search for an Area Sales Manager (North). As Area Sales Manager You will be reporting to the Sales Manager with the main duties and responsibilities being to develop the business sales area in line with the company goals and any targets. To operate within the guidelines of the company’s processes, to ensure mutual achievement of budgeted sales turnover and gross margins. Through the distribution network which includes independent accounts and national accounts, among others. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the development of Regional and some Key Accounts across the North of England and Scotland Responsible for the relationship, management and growth of the existing retail accounts within your territory, while actively prospecting for new distributors, domestic interior design accounts, and opportunities To work with reporting systems to accurately measure how each customer account is performing in terms of sales turnover against targets Develop & Manage Regional/Key Accounts Target new business opportunities Deliver on budgets and targets Set target plans by brand for territories What are we looking for? Ideally at least 2 years of field sales experience Good knowledge of the tool industry and product lines Experience of selling B2B within the area Strong presentation and communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft excel and word.
