What You’ll Be Doing
As a Service Designer, you’ll play a key role in transforming public services, ensuring they are user-centred, efficient, and accessible. You'll collaborate with design, client services, and project management teams to deliver innovative solutions that improve citizen and government interactions.
Key Responsibilities
* Service Design Leadership: Lead the design of end-to-end services, including workshops, research, and prototyping.
* User-Centered Approach: Ensure all services are designed based on a deep understanding of user and stakeholder needs.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance public sector service delivery through design thinking.
* Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including policy makers, developers, and researchers.
What You’ll Bring
* Service Design Expertise: Proven experience designing and delivering complex services, ideally in the public sector.
* User Research & Insight: Ability to translate research into actionable design improvements.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communicator, confident in working with government and public sector teams.
* Tool Mastery: Experience with prototyping and design tools such as Adobe CC, Figma, and service mapping techniques.
