Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the departments referral protocols. Refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary or step-up the persons treatment to high intensity therapy. Develop treatment plans, tailoring them to meet the specific and individual needs of each patient. Adhere to an agreed activity contract relating to the number of client contacts offered and clinical sessions carried out per week in order to minimise waiting times and ensure treatment delivery remains accessible and convenient. Assess and manage risk of patients intent to harm self or others in line with Service and Trust protocols. Complete all requirements relating to data collection within the service. Assess and integrate issues surrounding work and employment into the overall therapy process. Ensure that client confidentiality is protected at all times in line with Service and Trust protocols and policies. Be aware of and keep up to date with advances in the spheres of treatment for common mental health problems. Attend Case Supervision/Reflective Practice Supervision on a regular basis as agreed with Locality Manager and Clinical Lead. Contribute to the development of best practice within the service.
