The impact you’ll have:
As a German speaking content executive at loveholidays you’ll play a key role in our ambition to become Europe’s leading online travel agent.
Working in our international content team, you’ll ensure our English content is translated seamlessly into the German language. You’ll be comfortable using a range of AI powered tools to steer our translation at scale and curating content from scratch. You’ll be the guardian of our tone of voice in Germany and play a central role in ensuring our brand personality resonates well with our German customers.
Your day-to-day:
* Reviewing and editing copy translated from English to German to fit brand guidelines and tone of voice
* Creating user centric content that helps resolves user issues and customer service queries
* Working across the marketing team to curate content for email, push, social and brand activities in Germany
* Working with wider stakeholders to plan and deliver content that supports the wider business
Your skillset:
* Fluent in German and English, both verbal and written communication
* Ability to translate copy from English into German to a high standard
* Excellent copywriting and content creation skills
* Understanding of how brand guidelines influence the copy you create, including tone of voice
* Understanding of how to adapt copy to a range of platforms e.g. email and social media
* Understanding of how content can be used to communicate customer service issues effectively
* A team player who can work well with teams in the office and remotely
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise different projects effectively
* Strong research skills
Not necessary but would be desirable to have:
* Experience using platforms such as Braze, Twilio or similar to create email and push campaigns, as well as segmentation using custom data
* Experience using analytics platforms such as Looker or Tableau to monitor performance, and make data-led decisions regarding future campaigns
* Experience creating brand content
* Knowledge and understanding of the travel sector
* Good understanding of how SEO influences onsite content
* Good understanding of social media
