Who we are looking for… We are looking for an experienced senior data analyst to help drive transformation that enables evidence-based decision making throughout the organisation. You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the council’s corporate Data Strategy and working with our core technology platform; Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have: Demonstrable experience in leading and implementing strategic change and delivering programmes of work to drive forward transformation, ideally within a data and performance context A strong background in data analytics, with a robust foundation in data modelling and proficiency in SQL Proven experience in developing reports, dashboards and visualisations using PowerBI to communicate findings to stakeholders Expertise in data preparation, ensuring that data is accurate and primed for use across the organisation. Skills in data system orchestration, with the ability to manage data pipelines and workflows Knowledge of ETL processes, and a proactive approach to enhancing data operations. Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders and translate data into meaningful insights.
