Geotechnical Project Support Engineer
Salary: £40k - £55k + excellent benefits
Location: Burscough (or Camberley with regular travel to Burscough, approx. every 2 weeks for 3 days)
Remote Working: Possible after 3 months (up to 1-2 days per week)
Overview:
We are seeking a Geotechnical Project Support Engineer to assist the site team in all engineering aspects of construction works. This role focuses on providing technical solutions, supporting site activities, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and tailor pile schedules for sites, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
Produce and approve fabrication and method drawings.
Oversee the production of PTP and WTP drawings.
Collaborate with Designers, Plant Departments, and other stakeholders.
Proactively resolve technical challenges and ensure site teams are supported.
Lead meetings to review progress and implement continuous improvements.
Provide technical solutions and feedback for project efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience as a piling site engineer.
Proficiency in Excel; AutoCAD and piling design experience preferred.
Ability to read and implement technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Physical Requirements:
Regular travel between sites, offices, and plant yard is required.
