What does this Finance opportunity offer you?
We’re recruiting for students to join us on our Finance Programme here at EDF.
You’ll work alongside Financial Control Analysts and support the Financial Control Managers. As part of the financial control team, you’ll provide analytical support that enables the Financial Control team to provide challenge, assurance and reporting of financial performance to present a single version of the truth to the leadership team and external stakeholders.

Training, development and support for you:
Over this 12-month programme, you’ll be involved in some of the below tasks:
* Assist with the monthly financial reporting cycle for relevant Programmes and Functions, including support to deliver monthly accountability processes and posting of journals.
* Support with the delivery and presentation of timely, accurate and relevant management information to enable the effective management of the appropriate Programmes and Functions
* Facilitate the control of budgets, accruals, recoveries, headcount and investment proposals and reporting
* Work collaboratively with the planning and reporting team, project controls and other areas of the business to obtain the necessary data and information to support the management information required to deliver the team objectives
* Undertake and manage ad-hoc projects
The skills and experience gained on such a varied industrial placement offers you an introduction to a fast-paced, vital and dynamic area.

Your work location
This placement will be based at our Bristol office, with some travel to other sites, however, we do offer flexible working from the office and home.
Who you are
We are looking for candidates who are on track to achieve, or have already achieved, a 2:2 undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a Finance or Economics field. You should possess strong technical and analytical skills, along with a genuine desire to learn and develop new capabilities. A questioning attitude, good teamwork, and effective communication skills are also essential qualities we seek.
