Specialising in VizRT products and workflows, we have over 30 years of industry experience in the conception, production and successful delivery of full turnkey and bespoke on-air graphics solutions across all media platforms.
The Role:
The VizRT Artist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Viz Graphics. You possess a strong understanding of the live production and broadcast environment. As a VizRT Artist you will manage the process from creative designs to on-screen product and graphic templates and fulfil the editorial requirements by delivering user-friendly front ends. You will create and develop tools and workflows to enable broadcast presentations and streamline production operations. You are a proactive team player who can assist in coordination and delivery as well as provide expertise related to integration between Viz systems and other production systems.
We are seeking someone who possesses confidentiality, excellent organisational and note-taking skills, and reliability. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects concurrently and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
This role is full time, based onsite in our London, UK office. At times you will be required to support a global portfolio requiring flexibility with non-traditional hours and the ability to to travel domestically and internationally - a valid passport is required.
What you will do:
* Provide concept creation, design, VizRT build, data integration, implementation, operational training and support of VizRT Real-Time, live graphics packages for various clients
* Project management and coordination of complex graphics system implementations
* Provide sales and support assistance to other associated broadcast products that may be distributed by Girraphic
* Provide technical and engineering support to clients
* Provide assistance with graphic designs and on air implementation to clients.
* Installation and testing of graphics systems at client sites
* Training of clients in the use of Vizrt products
* On-going maintenance and updating of existing on-screen graphics packages.
* Troubleshoot issues with Real-Time graphics platforms
* Assisting in build and implementation of new on-screen graphics and graphic assets on a daily basis, closely following briefs and working to tight deadlines
* Apply graphics scenes in a live broadcast environment
* Implementation of immediate graphics or functionality changes when necessary.
* Assist in building and maintaining playout templates consistent with design solutions supplied
* Establish and build strong working relationships with all relevant stakeholders involved in the production pipeline from creation to playout, both internally, with clients and with third party suppliers
* Be aware of developing technologies within the industry and be passionate about applying those to a live broadcast environment
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of all aspects of television production and working within a live production environment
Who you are:
* Skilled across the whole VizRT platform, with in-depth knowledge of Viz Artist
* Operational and Technical expertise of the Vizrt Graphics Products
* Adobe Creative Suite
* Knowledge of Maya and/or Cinema 4D
* Familiarity with gaming engines or associated 3D applications
* Experience as a graphics operator within a Broadcaster
* Experience as a trainer, preferably on broadcast graphics
