Our Team: We are looking for Leisure Attendants 30 & 27 hours per week plus a 7 hour post each Saturday 9am - 4.30pm, that want to join our Active Halton Leisure Centres team with responsibility for maintaining Halton’s NEW £30 million pound asset, Halton Leisure Centre. We are looking for an Leisure Attendants to join our team. No two days will be same, so this role will be varied and will give you the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities. The purpose of the role is to support in the day-to-day operational and delivery of services, working alongside the Facility Manager and colleagues to deliver a facility and services that keep the residents of Halton active. The successful candidate must hold a National Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) Your Contributions: You will maintain vigilant supervision of pool users and always ensure their safety. Administer first aid, effect pool rescues and apply resuscitation as necessary. Always comply with the Centre’s Health and Safety procedures. Deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Prepare activity areas involving the setting up/dismantling of equipment. Assist the Facility Manager with any tasks involved in the operation of the Centre. Including serving customers in reception and café areas. Attend training, staff meetings and Council briefings as directed by the Facility Manager.
