Are you passionate about supporting surgical teams and ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients? We are seeking a Clinical Specialist to join a dynamic team, providing expert guidance and technical support within the operating theatre environment.
Role Overview:
As a Clinical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the effective use of medical devices in surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital staff to provide training, product expertise, and support throughout surgical cases. Your role will also involve managing inventory, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring seamless communication between the clinical setting and internal sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in-theatre product support and training to surgical teams.
* Act as the main point of contact between hospitals and the companys Regional Sales Manager.
* Advise on the correct use and application of medical devices before, during, and after surgical procedures.
* Deliver training sessions to theatre staff, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
* Manage inventory, including auditing stock levels and coordinating loan kits.
* Attend industry events, symposiums, and exhibitions to represent the brand.
* Keep up-to-date records in the CRM system and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner.
* Maintain company-provided equipment such as laptops, mobile devices, and audit tools.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hospital credentialing requirements.
What Were Looking For:
* Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, ideally with experience in orthopaedics or surgical support.
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Highly organised with strong time management and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a clinical setting.
* Intermediate IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
* A full UK driving licence (held for at least 3 years) and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Working Conditions:
* Field-based role with travel to NHS and private hospitals.
* Some international travel may be required for training and industry events.
* Must be comfortable working in a surgical environment and adhering to hospital credentialing requirements.
* Physical aspects of the role include standing for long periods and handling medical equipment.
