Are you a passionate Pharmacist looking to gain specialist experience in Haematology and Oncology? If so, University Hospitals Bristol & Weston NHS Trust (UHBW) has an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team, working at the forefront of cancer pharmacy in the Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC).
As a Specialist Cancer Pharmacist, you will collaborate with experienced Senior Pharmacists across various adult and teenage and young adult (TYA) specialty areas on rotation. This includes providing clinical pharmacy services to oncology, haematology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) patients, including those treated with Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell therapies (CAR-T). You will also provide aseptic services to patients throughout the Trust.
If you have a minimum of 6 months hospital experience and are working towards a post graduate certificate with a keen interest in cancer services, recruitment to a Band 6 to 7 progression post will be considered.

* Assisting with audit, teaching, and supervision activities as appropriate.
We are committed to comprehensive patient care, so this role involves participation in other parts of the pharmacy service when required. This includes weekend commitment either to chemo on-call or BHOC clinical service; late duties; bank holidays; and participation in the pharmacist emergency duty service for the Trust.
