This role can be Hybrid with 1 or 2 days in the Gloucester HQ in the South West. What will you be doing? Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers in the manufacturing and engineering departments to understand their staffing needs, job requirements, and team dynamics. Provide guidance on job descriptions, interview processes, and candidate selection. Source Candidates: Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, Linkedin, social media, professional networks, and industry events. Utilize advanced search techniques and tools to identify and attract top talent. Screen and Assess Candidates: Conduct initial screenings and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Use behavioural and competency-based interview techniques to identify the best candidates for the role. Coordinate Interviews: Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates. Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process by providing timely communication and feedback to all parties involved. Manage Candidate Experience: Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Provide regular updates to candidates, address their questions and concerns, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. Maintain Recruitment Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Track key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction to continuously improve the recruitment process. Employer Branding: Assist in the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives specific to the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Promote ICOMAT as an employer of choice through various channels, including social media, career fairs, and industry events. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in talent acquisition for manufacturing and engineering roles. Attend industry conferences, webinars, and networking events to stay informed and build professional relationships. Provide Recruitment Insights: Analyse recruitment data and provide insights to hiring managers and HR leadership. Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the recruitment process. Support Diversity and Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process by actively seeking out diverse candidates and ensuring a fair and unbiased selection process. What do we need from you? Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist (min 3 years’ experience) or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing and engineering industry. Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
