Job Description:
1. We are looking for a graduate to join the team to be trained in all areas of the business.
2. The role of Assistant Project Manager involves overseeing all areas of development, from inception to delivery, of various Construction/Retail related projects around the United Kingdom.
3. A particular focus will be on our ANPR survey programme, which involves visiting sites across the country to survey them for ANPR camera installation. This includes identifying appropriate power sources, mapping cable routes on plans, and determining optimum camera locations. Full training is provided.
4. The role requires managing every aspect of the project from start to finish, including planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of various projects, always keeping the client’s requirements in mind.
5. Effective communication across all levels of management is essential to develop and establish a brief for the project that clearly defines all objectives.
6. The role also involves setting measurable objectives and timelines for all project elements, and managing other consultant disciplines and contractors to ensure delivery to cost, time, and quality standards.
7. Maintaining records and work folders is expected, ensuring all work is checked and appropriately approved for distribution.
8. The job requires managing retail construction/redevelopment projects in a live environment.
9. Management of other design teams, cost management consultants, and contractors is necessary to ensure timely completion within company budget and client timelines.
