The role
Goresbrook School Primary is seeking a skilled and motivated Nursery Nurse/ EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a pivotal role in raising standards of student attainment and teaching quality within the EYFS department. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and be passionate about supporting students to achieve their fullest potential.
As a Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years old. You will work collaboratively with our existing team to create engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for children
* Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to meet the individual needs of each child, a child-centred approach and knowledge of in the moment planning
* Observing and assessing children's progress and maintaining accurate records
* Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
* Ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures at all times
