Job ref: S/24/25 Job type: Permanent Location: Various Salary: Scale 5 (SCP 14-19) £28,624 - £31,067 per annum Quantity of Posts Available: Eighteen Closing date: Wednesday 23 Apr 2025 16:00 Job summary Responsible for the daily/weekly completion of specific work schedules and driving of specified Council vehicles in connection with refuse collection services within any given area of the Borough. Responsible for the safe, legal and efficient operation of specified vehicles to include adherence to the appropriate driving guidelines, legislation and appropriate codes of practice. Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
