The Role
Hays are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Compliance and Onboarding Manager to join our client on an short temporary assignment for an approximate duration of 6 months.
The role leads the Nexus audit and compliance strategy, embedding a global security culture to achieve full audit, GDPR, legal, and PCI compliance. Collaborating with Corporate Security and Nexus leadership, they maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment while overseeing the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process. They ensure new joiners are equipped for success, manage trackers, and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive process efficiency and compliance. Acting as the first point of contact for Nexus-related queries, they deliver high-quality administrative support to ensure seamless operations and a culture of security
Accountabilities
1. Manage Onboarding/Offboarding Processes:Lead end-to-end onboarding/offboarding activities, ensuring Nexus new joiners have all required tools, access, and resources to start effectively on day one, while ensuring smooth transitions during offboarding.
1. Track and Improve Processes:Maintain and enhance onboarding/offboarding trackers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations while refining checklists, induction materials, and workflows for efficiency.
1. Onboarding Risk Mitigation:Take a leading role in onboarding sign-off meetings, proactively identifying risks, ensuring compliance with security and contractual requirements, and addressing gaps to enhance the overall process.
1. Compliance Training and Engagement:Engage with new joiners and stakeholders to deliver compliance-related training and induction sessions, fostering awareness of key policies and procedures, such as data protection, fraud prevention, and security protocols.
1. Audit and Policy Adherence:Develop and execute audit plans for Nexus locations and processes, ensuring compliance with physical security, recruitment standards, PCI regulations, data protection (GDPR), and insider fraud prevention strategies.
1. Compliance Strategy Leadership:Implement and manage the Nexus compliance strategy, working with suppliers, leadership, and security teams to ensure all third-party engagements adhere to contractual and regulatory obligations.
1. Risk Mitigation and Security Controls:Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to identify potential security incidents, agree on mitigating controls, and embed these practices within Nexus operations to protect customer data.
1. Remote Working Compliance:Lead the compliance strategy for remote working, ensuring that suppliers and Nexus staff operate within agreed standards to mitigate risks, including insider fraud and data breaches.
1. Audit Collaboration and Resolution:Act as a key liaison with client Internal Audit teams to identify areas of risk, address audit findings, and implement compliant resolutions, ensuring the Nexus program consistently meets high compliance standards.
1. Compliance Culture Building:Foster a culture of compliance within the Nexus organization by creating open dialogues, promoting adherence to standards, and embedding security and compliance practices into day-to-day operations.
