Interim Senior Credit Controller | Scaling Hospitality Brand | 3-Month FTC (Potential Extension)
Harmonic is delighted to be working with a high-growth hospitality brand in search of an experienced Interim Credit Controller to support their finance function during a critical period. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for extension, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Business
Our client is a rapidly expanding hospitality brand with a strong presence across multiple locations. As they scale, they require a skilled finance professional to enhance governance, introduce new cash policies, and assist in the transition to SAP. With continued investment and ambitious growth plans, this is an exciting opportunity for a finance expert to play a key role in their evolving finance function.
The Role
As Interim Credit Controller, you will take charge of credit control, optimize accounts receivable operations, and provide leadership to the AR team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in finance, experience in multi-site organizations, and a proactive approach to process refinement.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify areas for improvement and implement enhanced processes, policies, and governance measures
* Oversee the successful rollout of a revised cash policy across the organization
* Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts receivable team
* Support the transition to SAP, ensuring that AR systems are configured effectively
* Act as the primary escalation point for overdue accounts
* Ensure all revenue streams are fully reconciled within appropriate timeframes
* Maintain accuracy and reliability in financial reporting across ledgers
* Assist in the projection and management of cash flow for revenue streams
* Contribute to month-end reporting and the preparation of management accounts
* Undertake ad hoc financial tasks to support business performance as needed
Minimum Requirements
* Strong experience in an accounts receivable or credit control role
* Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence teams
* Background in multi-site business operations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
* Solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles
Preferred Skills
* Prior involvement in system migrations (SAP experience is a plus)
* Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments

* Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
* Salary: £45,000-50,000 per annum
