Job Title: Account Director / Client Director
Role: Full-time, permanent
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire; with a minimum of 2-3 days per week office-based

Our client, a prestigious automotive training, testing, and experiential marketing agency, is seeking an ambitious and creative Account Director / Client Director to join their dynamic team. This agency has been at the forefront of the industry for over 40 years, working with some of the most luxurious automotive brands globally.
The Role
This senior role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced event professional to lead and manage one of our client’s flagship automotive luxury brands. This account, which has been retained for over 20 years, includes projects around the globe for various internal stakeholders, managed by a dedicated team of project managers and support staff under the guidance of the Business Development Director.
You will oversee a range of projects, including media launches, experiential and test drive programmes, brand experiences, conferences, product launches, and retailer training events. Budgets for these projects range from £2.5K to £2.5M.
You will be responsible for managing the account on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage client and account relationships with multiple stakeholders.
2. Develop creative responses to client briefs.
3. Create and manage estimates to PO, oversee budgets, and sign off on reconciliations.
4. Forecast resource requirements.
5. Support the project delivery team to ensure operational excellence.
6. Ensure adherence to client SOPs and processes.
7. Build and maintain understanding of existing client relationships.
8. Develop internal account reporting processes and tools.
About You
1. Extensive experience in creating, managing, and running large-scale multiple events in either the luxury brand or automotive sector.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with numerical fluency.
3. Ability to mentor and coach the project delivery team.
4. Comfortable engaging with all levels of the client team, from intern to CEO.
5. Currently operating at an Account / Client Director level.
6. Significant agency experience, even if currently operating client-side.
7. Proficient in the Microsoft 365 / TEAMS environment.
8. Full UK driving licence and ability to travel internationally.
