The Delivery ManagementOffice (DMO) sits within the Delivery Talent Community. This role is internal working across multidisciplines. The DMO is focused ondelivering effective and proactive support to engagements across the Avanade UKportfolio through a set of defined processes/application of global policies,working with offshore support, delivery and finance teams.
A DMO professional adds valueby providing a service to all stakeholders through accurate and timelymanagement information to support and inform decision making, across thebusiness and portfolio by managing project costs and revenue in line withcontractual commitments and business expectations to support both our clientsand our company goals of efficiency, growth and profitability.
1. Experience with financial management activities to include managing budgets, production of invoices, forecasting, and revenue recognition models
2. Variance analysis and tracking of project financial performance against original deal economics
3. Proven problem-solving best practices
4. General consulting skills, good customer focus and able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Excellent organisation, prioritisation skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as a team.
7. Advanced Excel skills and experience working in Project/Operational Management.
8. Comprehensive understanding of all PMO processes and best practices
9. Demonstrate experience in adherence to governance, contractual terms and project life cycles
.
Management of a sizable portfolio of projects deliveringthe following:
·Detailed monitoring andforecasting of project costs, to ensure projects deliver required financialperformance
·Proactive management of time and costadjustments
·Effective management ofproject revenues and billings including production of invoices and securing timelypayments
·Facilitate and consolidatereporting as required for both internal stakeholders and clients
·Variance analysis and modelling scenarios totrack and predict project financial performance against original dealeconomics.
·Reporting,tracking and analysing status of current and trend project performance data.
·Assisting stakeholders with creation andmaintenance of project and programme plans.
·Adherence to corporate andcustomer policies.
·Set up and run of regularengagement/account/portfolio governance activities.
·Timely and accurate documentmanagement in compliance with governance policies
