Job Description: This role will work to improve associate and line manager experience through a combine end-to-end P&O site service delivery by integrating the P&O Business Partnership and Associate Relations function in our Food Supply site in Kings Lynn. Experience of employee relations and handling sensitive matters and difficult conversations with empathy and discretion. What will be your key responsibilities? Please note that this role will require weekly presence in the Kings Lynn site P&O Business Partnership Principle Point of contact for all People and P&O topics related to the KLN site Develop strong business acumen to provide quality P&O business partnership to KLN Supply Leadership team and to implement segment and local people strategy Provide day-to-day support and coaching to line managers to address and resolve associate issues across all P&O disciplines e.g. recruitment, performance management. Drive signature people processes like performance management, succession planning, line management capability and provide day to day support and coaching to line management on these processes. Partner with COEs like TA Partner with regional and global P&O on transversal agendas like I&D, culture, Org design transformations Partner with Supply P&O leadership and VCO leadership to enable & deliver our global people strategy Bring The Five Principles and Associate Concept to life in the deployment of all people initiative on sites. Be an advocate in fostering a “One Mars P&O” environment and managing the interactions and interdependencies of My P&O, CoE, Business Partner, and Line Manager roles to best drive key business objectives Associate Relations Partner with AR Specialist and the UK AR team to ensure that advice and support is provided to line managers on a range of AR issues including, but not limited to, performance improvement; conduct issues, grievances, sickness absence; flexible working requests and workplace concerns. Take ownership for longer term or more complex cases ensuring that all internal and external options have been considered and advising on appropriate direction. Ensure accurate input into Service Now [SNOW] for case management as required. Work in partnership with AR Specialist to track and report on site AR trends proactively and to deliver required AR interventions. Develop the skill and capacity of line managers in the AR space to manage people issues effectively and independently. As required, create and deliver AR Capability programs for Line Managers and P&O Business Partners. Provide AR expertise on org change initiatives including org restructures; business transfers; M&A integration and changes to terms and conditions of employment etc Deliver against the AR Strategy as required Partner with Legal Counsel [internal & external] as required on employment issues and to represent the business in legal proceedings What can you expect from Mars?
