Key Responsibilities:
* Processing invoices: Accurately input supplier invoices into the accounting system and ensure timely payments.
* Statement reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of supplier statements, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy.
* Liaise with suppliers: Communicate effectively with suppliers to resolve invoice and payment queries, ensuring a professional relationship is maintained.
* Payment runs: Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring correct amounts are paid on time.
* Ad-hoc duties: Support the finance team with various administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and assisting with month-end processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently with suppliers and internal teams.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks
