About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Support Specialist to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As an Education Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to students with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Tuition and Mentoring: Provide one-to-one tuition and mentoring to students in Maths, English, or Science, tailored to their individual needs and abilities.
* Lesson Planning and Reporting: Plan engaging and holistic sessions, tracking student progress and providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
* Safeguarding and Support: Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of students, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Your Requirements
* Professional Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience and Knowledge: Possess minimum 2 years of teaching experience, with a strong understanding of SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and additional educational needs.
* Skills and Attributes: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
