Scope of Role: To complete mechanical assembly work following technical drawings.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical assembly work
2. Building & assembling of small sub-assemblies.
3. Building fans, motors & heaters following assembly drawings & instructions.
4. Assembling products to company standards.
5. Ability to use various hand tools such as spanners, screwdrivers, allen keys, torque wrenches, as well as electric power tools.
6. Must be able to use measuring equipment such as Verniers & Micrometers.
7. Point to point wiring, crimping of small cables.
8. Soldering of small components.
9. Carry out general assembly duties on various products.
Key Knowledge & Experience:
1. Able to read and understand drawings and/or CMMs and/or SOPs.
2. Able to work from SOPs in tandem with drawings.
3. Able to read, write and understand English.
4. Knowledge of tools, i.e. circlip pliers, pliers, screwdrivers, tweezers, scrapers, Swiss files, etc.
5. Soldering skills on small components.
6. Skills on the use of machines, lathes, drills, etc.
7. Brazing desirable.
8. Ability to work in a team.
Hours of Work: 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm.
