About the Role We’re on the lookout for a skilled Surveyor to join our commercial team, bringing valuable experience from sectors such as education, leisure, residential, or commercial units. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-focused professional to support the delivery of high-quality projects across a variety of sectors, working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities Support the full commercial lifecycle of construction projects, from tender through to final account Assist in preparing cost plans, budgets, and subcontractor packages Carry out valuations, cost reporting, and financial forecasting Manage variations, change control, and payment applications Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures Work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, and consultants Contribute to risk management, value engineering, and procurement strategies Build strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to ensure successful project outcomes What You’ll Bring Proven experience working in one or more of the following sectors: Education (schools, academies) Leisure (sports centres, community hubs) Residential (housing schemes, apartments) Commercial (offices, light industrial units, retail) Experience working with a main contractor or reputable subcontractor Good understanding of standard construction contracts (JCT, D&B, etc.) Strong numerical, communication, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple packages or small to mid-sized projects Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline Ambition to grow within a supportive and expanding business What’s in it for You A varied project portfolio across public and private sectors Career development opportunities and support for chartership (if desired) A dynamic and collaborative working environment Competitive salary, car allowance/travel expenses, and benefits
