Hours: 45 hours per week (flexible rota)
About the Role
We're looking for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our passionate kitchen team based in the stunning Surrey Hills countryside. As a CDP, you'll be responsible for running your own section and supporting the senior chefs in delivering high-quality, freshly prepared dishes using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

Your Key Responsibilities
1. Manage your designated section to a high standard during prep and service
2. Prepare, cook, and present dishes consistently and accurately
3. Support senior chefs with menu development and daily specials
4. Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times
5. Help train and guide junior team members
6. Work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
7. Ensure stock is rotated and waste is minimised
What We're Looking For
1. Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
2. Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
3. Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking and presentation
4. Ability to work well as part of a tight-knit team
5. Organised, proactive, and able to take initiative
6. Willingness to learn and grow in a creative kitchen
Bonus if you have:
1. Culinary qualifications (not essential)
2. Experience in gastro pubs or modern British/European cuisine
3. Reliable transport due to rural location
