Job Title: Logistics Transformation Specialist
Location: Rochester, Kent. (On-Site)
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Play a leading role in ‘designing the future’ of Logistics requirements and communicating effectively as required e.g. Oracle upgrade and site transformation requirements
* Facilitation of internal logistics workshops to generate the relevant information required by wider transformation team(s)
* Process mapping requirements with both current and future requirements
* Engaging with the wider business to ensure Logistics are correctly positioned to provide the required service levels
* Working with the Logistics and wider Operations team to deliver continuous improvement activities within (but not limited to) the OKR programme
* Owning the ‘making life easier’ process
* Display a vision for improvement opportunities and appropriately suggest, engage, plan and deliver such opportunities. E.g. Oracle upgrades, Site Transformation
Your skills and experiences:
Essentials:
* Proven transformation/ continuous improvement experience, within a logistics environment
* Ability to prioritise your work and meet tight deadlines
* Customer service level focused
* Data focused with competent IT knowledge – Microsoft office
Desirable:
* Advanced Excel
* Oracle ERP advantageous
* Manufacturing background
* Lean Six sigma background (green belt level)

The Logistics team:
As a Logistics Transformation Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of transformation activities for current site activities and those linked to the brand-new factory being built at Rochester. The Rochester site is undergoing a £220 million upgrade, the new facility will combine manufacturing, engineering and office space. This role will play a critical part on how the logistics team evolve to suit new demands for the present and future.
