Job Title: Service Scheduler
Location: Kettering
Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours
Pay: £23,000 - £25,000
My client is a well-established company trading for over 40 years in the weighing machine industry for selling, servicing, repairing and calibrating are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Service Coordinator.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Service
1. Maintaining records of service visits and calibrations
2. Providing quotations for Sales & Service customers
Efficient Order Processing
1. Process sales and service quotations, orders, pro formas, and invoices using Sage 50 software.
2. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in the creation of customer sales quotations
3. Manage spare parts stock and orders to support smooth service operations
Communication and Coordination
1. Schedule Service visits, confirming dates with customers for a seamless experience
2. Manage inbound and outbound customer phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
3. Collaborate with the external sales force, handling enquiries and sales leads effectively
Digital Presence Management
1. Monitor and respond to sales and service-related emails promptly
2. Engage with customers through LiveChats on our website, providing real-time assistance
Logistics and Inventory Control
1. Organise shipments with carriers to ensure timely deliveries
2. Place orders with suppliers and manage stock and back orders for efficient order fulfilment
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
We're looking for a Service Administrator with the following skills and experience:
1. Previous experience of working in a similar role involving service administration, ideally in a technical environment;
2. Strong IT proficiency, with good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel;
3. Experience with Sage 50 or equivalent is essential
4. Experience of ACT! CRM system or similar is an advantage
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbally and in writing;
7. Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
The successful candidate should ideally have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a Sales Administration / Service Coordination role.
