Johnsons are one of the leading Coach companies in the West Midlands with a thriving, successful Coach Hire Department. We are looking for a vibrant, bubbly, proactive person to work in our existing very successful Sales team.
Our Private Hire department has enquiries and bookings from a wide range of clients ranging from social groups to schools and universities to corporate clients, sports teams, holiday organisers, and many more.
Our Coach Hire Sales Consultants work closely with our clients to offer the best solutions for their requirements and provide prompt responses to their needs. Every hire is unique, and our Sales team provides a bespoke offer for each enquiry. We have a large fleet of coaches to keep busy and are looking for someone with enthusiasm, determination, flexible thinking, and a focus on customer service to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quoting, chasing, and winning Coach Hire sales to a range of clients, including long-term contracting.
* Preparing and issuing quotation proposals to clients.
* Liaising with our clients to offer the best range of solutions and pricing options.
* Answering and responding to customer calls and emails, helping them with all their queries.
* Arriving at mutually acceptable conclusions with our clients for a successful hire.
* Ensuring that all relevant hire information is recorded, correct, and processed.
* Building a close relationship with the Operations Department to understand availability of resources.
* Building and nurturing client relationships to achieve repeat business.
* Improving the company profile and reputation to encourage referrals.
* Researching and pursuing potential new and lapsed clients.
* Attending team meetings and sharing best practices with colleagues.
* Supporting the rest of the Private Hire Team.
* Providing operational on-the-ground support for large Coach Hire events.
* Other duties related to the coach hire department but not specifically listed above.

* Driving legislation knowledge.
Basic Working Hours:
Full-time position 09:00hrs – 17:00hrs weekdays with a half-hour off for lunch (on a rota basis with other staff). Coffee breaks are taken at your desk. There is occasional overtime availability both on weekdays subject to the volume of work and infrequently providing on-site ground support on large coach hire events in the evenings and at weekends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
