Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Support Assistant. Based in Aberdeen, the role is on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working. ROLE Business Support Assistant is required to provide administrative support to the business in a professional, timely and cost-efficient manner to ensure that operational and business support needs are met. This role will be point of contact for external contacts and site visitors, action purchase orders and liaise with other departments within business. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist business with drafting project quotes and send these for approval to relevant manager. Creating purchase orders. Document control to ensure reports meet the company and client standard Timely and accurately review invoices and challenge any discrepancies. Updating job registers and systems accurately and regularly. Assist with travel arrangements for team members. General office admin duties. Review invoices in an accurate and timely manner; challenge any inaccuracies. Managing business email account and answering incoming telephone calls in a timely and professional manner and direct to the appropriate internal contact. Represent the Company during all customer and prospect interactions. Apply the company’s Quality System and Health, Safety & Environmental arrangements to all assigned tasks. Participate in company development initiatives as may be required from time to time. Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified, in a safe and efficient manner, to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these
