About the role
As a Nursery Practitioner at Saint Nicholas School's Rocking Horse Nursery, you'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality care, educational activities, and pastoral support to children attending the nursery. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from fostering individual development through play and educational activities to building strong relationships with parents/carers.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure high-level care and support for each child, contributing to pastoral care and maintaining accurate records.
* Facilitate a variety of activities and experiences aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to promote children's interests and development.
* Collaborate with the team to implement daily routines and support the nursery's operations smoothly.
* Foster positive relationships with parents/carers, encouraging their involvement in the nursery and providing regular updates on children's progress.
* Uphold child welfare standards, complying with EYFS requirements and maintaining health and safety protocols.
* Undertake professional duties as required, including continuous professional development and participation in appraisals.

Saint Nicholas School is a happy and successful school for around 500 boys and girls aged 3 months-16 years. The school is situated in attractive grounds in a delightful, rural setting.
