Role Overview
We are seeking an Internal recruitment resource, specialising in contractor recruitment to join our dynamic People team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and managing contractors across various departments. This role requires a proactive recruitment professional who can develop talent pipelines, work with hiring managers to understand project needs, and deliver high-quality contractor candidates efficiently.
What will you be doing?
1. Recruitment & Sourcing: Proactively source, engage, and screen contractor candidates and some permanent positions to fulfil project-based staffing needs. Utilise various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and networking, to build a strong pipeline of qualified contractors.
2. Collaboration: Liaise with hiring managers across departments to understand contractor needs, project timelines, and required skills. Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing insights on contractor availability, skill sets, and market trends.
3. Screening & Assessment: Conduct screening and assessments to evaluate contractors’ skills, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate interviews between contractors and hiring managers to ensure the right match for each project.
4. Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with current contractors to ensure engagement and retention. Maintain regular communication to keep them informed of new opportunities and extensions.
What are we looking for?
1. Experience in recruitment within a fast-paced environment.
2. Strong sourcing skills, ideally within the contractor market.
3. Ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers alike.
4. Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM tools, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
5. Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple requisitions and deadlines effectively.
