This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to take on a Senior Estates Surveyor role within Warwickshire County Council. The Council is looking for an experienced practitioner to deliver on the property strategy which supports the ambitions of the council plan.
The ability to work under their own initiative as well as part of a wider team of Surveyors and Property Professionals is essential. Reporting to the Commissioning Manager - Estates, the successful candidate will work within a team of three other Surveyors involved in managing a diverse portfolio of Council properties and in ensuring our public estate meets the needs of the council and the communities we serve.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary professional team which interfaces with a broad range of public sector services. We work closely on commissioning property solutions to meet a variety of service requirements whilst ensuring they remain aligned to the medium-term financial strategy.
The job is for a permanent role, based on a full-time 37 hours per week basis. The benefits we offer include agile working, generous annual leave, and local government pension.

* Qualified to degree level.
* A member of the RICS.
* A knowledgeable practitioner with experience in providing professional property advice within a large and diverse organisation.
* A good communicator and competent in IT skills.
The role will be based in Warwick with the ability to work in an agile manner and occasional travel is necessary within the County.
The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
