Location: Nottingham Salary: £30,000, depending on experience Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week 8:00am - 4:30pm Free onsite parking 6 months fixed term contract Immediate Start We are currently recruiting for an experience Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team, within the education sector based in Nottingham initially 6 months fixed term contract with the potential becoming a permanent position. As the Sales Ledger Clerk you will be supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Controller. Main duties of the Sales Ledger Clerk will be: Working closely with the Management Accountant and Financial Controller Managing the Sales Ledger Raising sales invoices Processing sales invoices Chasing outstanding payments Taking debit/ credit payments Managing petty cash and expenses Raising and preparing weekly and monthly reports Dealing with queries Ad hoc duties relating to accounts/ finance Ideal candidate should have: Experience of Sales Ledger Experience of working in within the Education sector would be an advantage AAT or equivalent would be an advantage Excellent communication skills verbal and written Able to work to strict deadlines Hold current DBS would be desirable In return you will receive: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week 1 hour lunch break Free onsite parking Access to fitness and health facilities Complimentary refreshments Pension scheme Discounted travel Please note that due to the sector, DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks will be applied.
