Your new role The Science department is a team of nine who is led by an energetic and passionate head of department who joined the school two years ago. Since joining they have worked hard to ensure the team are working collaboratively to deliver the best education for the pupils and are now looking to strengthen the department. This is an exciting opportunity for somebody who will challenge status-quo and contribute to continuously improving teaching standards whilst being empowered by the SLT. What you'll need to succeed You will be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with strong subject knowledge in Science, strong classroom management skills and a passion for the subject. You will have a successful track record of improving the education of pupils in a Secondary and know what excellent education looks like in a classroom.
