The ideal candidate will have clear experience and results producing high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience across various platforms, including social media, vlogs and more. You will work alongside the Social Media Executive to play a key role in shaping our brand voice, story telling and increasing online engagement through innovative content strategies. In this role: Drive Engagement: Hit the ground running by increasing social media engagement (likes, comments, shares) through innovative, high-quality content on platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Boost Visibility: Grow Six Stories’ Instagram followers and TikTok by creating trending, platform-optimized content, especially using video formats like Reels and TikTok. Sales Impact: Contribute directly to revenue growth by aligning content strategies with product launches and promotions, increase conversions from social media campaigns. Content Reach: Increase average organic reach by 15% on all social platforms within 6 months by using SEO and platform trend strategies. Video Growth: Expand the video content library by producing 2-3 high-quality, trend-appropriate videos weekly that resonate with target audiences. Responsibilities Content Development: Create compelling and original content (text, image, video, audio) tailored to our brand’s audience for use across multiple platforms (social media, vlogs, email campaigns, etc.). Develop scripts, captions and copy for various forms of content, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and tone. Collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to conceptualise new ideas, campaigns and content series. Social Media Management: Plan, create and publish engaging posts across social media channels, ensuring consistency in messaging and style. Stay up-to-date with platform trends, and leverage them to enhance audience engagement (e.g., TikTok challenges, Instagram Reels, etc.). Engage with followers, respond to comments and maintain a strong online community presence. Video Production & Editing: Record and edit short- and long-form videos for platforms like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Use video editing software to enhance the quality of content. Ensure the videos adhere to brand guidelines and platform best practices. Content Optimisation: Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines, improving online visibility. Analyse content performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve content strategy. Regularly update older content to keep it fresh, relevant, and optimised for current trends. Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing and Product team to produce content that aligns with overall marketing objectives and product launches. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop content ideas and marketing initiatives. Content Calendar Management: Maintain and manage the content calendar, ensuring that all content is delivered on time and aligns with campaign goals and seasonal events. Plan ahead to prepare for major product launches, sales, or special events. Qualifications: 2 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing. Excellent portfolio of work that you are able to demonstrate. Proficient in video editing. Track record in growing social media accounts. Personal Attributes: Ability to work closely with the marketing team to execute ideas effectively. Understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and content best practices. Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience and interest in creating content. Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, engaging content for various platforms.
