Part one Work as a Clinical Auditor providing a high standard of data analysis and interpretation in identified areas of clinical need Work independently, without day to day supervision, to design and carry out audits covering a range of clinical areas. Assist the surgery in meeting the requirements of QOF, LCS (LES & DES) and Public Health. More specifically, but not limited to, providing audit support and recall assisting in the delivery of LTC (long term condition) reviews, QOF list management and supporting the NHS vaccination programmes. Undertake ongoing monitoring and analysis of Appointments systems, identifying demand patterns, efficacy of current systems and making recommendations to improve these systems. Communicate effectively with colleagues with regards to complex and sensitive information regarding clinician performance Work across the multi-disciplinary team to create and evaluate effective and streamlined clinical pathways and services Develop relationships and collaborative working approach across the Multi-Disciplinary Teams in the surgery and the wider requirements of the ICB. Supporting the integration of pathways in primary care and actively suggesting and engaging with initiatives to help improve patient care. Provide learning opportunities for the whole multi professional team within primary care from your data analysis. Part Two Ensuring doctors see all relevant letters received at the surgery. Extraction of necessary data from clinical correspondence and input into Electronic Patient Record. Read Coding any relevant information into the practice clinical system. Ensuring doctors follow-up queries and outstanding issues. Provide a full secretarial service to doctors and clinical staff as required, including audio transcribing, and complex referrals via the National Booking Service. Act as a point of contact for patients and their doctors. Liaise with other associated hospitals, their administrative staff and medical secretaries. Scanning & attaching of letters and relevant correspondence into patients notes. Provide recall systems where appropriate, using a task system. Provide accurate data to enable patients to be registered properly on the database. Review data for audit purposes Ensure security of data at all times Receive and act appropriately on incoming emails into the Surgery To provide cover for members of the secretarial team during periods of sickness and annual leave. Receive and act appropriately on incoming electronic tasks from secondary care organisations into the surgery.
