JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Job Duties: Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance learning outcomes Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Work collaboratively with other educators and professionals to support students' holistic development Required Qualifications: Recognised teaching qualification Experience working with students with SEN Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Specialist qualification in Special Educational Needs Experience in using assistive technology to support learning Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, providing support to students with SEN in a classroom or one-to-one setting. The position may require travel to different locations within Oxfordshire. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
