Tarnerland Nursery School, a not-for-profit nursery maintained by the Local Authority, is looking for a Deputy Room Leader.

Essential qualification: Relevant Early Years qualifications, minimum Level 3
Hours: 34.5 hours per week, shifts between 8am and 6pm (on a stable rota of 2 long days and 3 short days), Monday - Friday
Pay: £27,269 to £27,711 per annum, pro rata, all year round, 52 paid weeks per year

Applicants should have;
• A relevant childcare qualification.
• Significant experience of working with children under five in an Early Years environment.
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and practical experience of planning and assessing for children of this age.
• A proven work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
• Experience of working with children with additional needs.
