Contracts Manager South England £475-£525 per day (Umbrella) Inside IR35 Hybrid (Majority Home-Working) Full-Time 6-Month Contract CV's are being reviewed immediately and interviews will be taking place week commencing ASAP Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Landlord, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of our new NEC4 FMC facilities management contract with a new supplier. As part of the Hard FM Procurement project team, you will be responsible for developing and refining internal processes, tools, and capabilities for effective contract management. You will act as the council’s dedicated strategic intelligent client on a portfolio of complex/high risk contracts, ensuring high quality efficient delivery in line with contractual commitments. You will lead on contractual performance and delivery, providing commercial leadership and strategic interventions to maximise value for money in line with the commercial terms of contracts and the council’s commercial assurance framework, e.g. contract rules. Your Role as a Contracts Manager Collaborate with the project team to confidently implement the NEC4 FMC contract. Provide commercial assurance and strategic commercial direction including the co-ordination of related projects delivered through the contract. Engender ambition by ensuring suppliers deliver to contractual obligations, recognising key priorities and managing supplier performance. Ensure effective monitoring to secure contract compliance including appropriate lines of supplier engagement, achieving value for money for the council. Undertake timely performance reporting including the reporting of key risks/issues, in line with the agreed reporting framework, escalating as required. Undertake contract reviews in line with agreed timescales or as required in response to specific risk/issues, to include periodic reviews, e.g. benchmarking/market testing. Your previous experience as Contracts Manager Demonstrable experience in the implementation and management of NEC contracts. Strong understanding of facilities management and procurement processes.
