Youwill provide basic nursing care to patients in the community setting under thedirection of a qualified nurse. The District Nursing service operates sevendays a week including bank holidays, to provide quality nursing care to patients intheir own homes.
Dueto the nature of the role it is essential that you are able to drive, have acar suitable for business purposes, and hold a clean driving licence.
Main duties of the job
Youwill provide nursing and personal care to patients with varying needs in thecommunity. Youwill need to work independently within a team structure, and will possessexcellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, and demonstrate a flexibleapproach to work.

Job responsibilities
The post holder isresponsible for providing high quality, personalised care to patients in theirown home/residential setting as part of the District Nursing service.
The postholder will work under indirect supervision and undertake tasks and duties delegatedby the Registered Nurse and will work collaboratively within the team to meetthe needs of the patients and the service.
