Your responsibilities
We are currently looking for a CNC Operative to join us here at thyssenkrupp Materials UK! As a CNC Operator, you will be picking material from the racks or picking up materials from a machine for customer orders and operating our CNC machines. You may also be required to load or unload vehicles and scan away to a rack location whilst adhering to quality and safety procedures.
Shift Pattern - You will also get a shift allowance of up to £2808 on top of your basic salary.
Mon-Friday
Week 1 -6am-2pm
Week 2 - 2pm-10pm
Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
* Operating our CNC Machines
* Ensuring we have warehouse traceability
* Ensuring material cut accurately
* Preparing customers' orders
* Checking of incoming and outgoing deliveries for quality and quantity
* Driving forklift trucks when authorised to gather material for the jobs and record all information on job sheets
* Use appropriate measuring equipment
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Your profile
* CNC Machining experience - you do not need to have experience programming CNC machines as our engineering team will do this part
* Good organisational skills
* Reliability and dependability
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
* Self-motivated
* Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
* Team player
* IT competent for use of scanning system
