Seeking someone who will act as the health and safety conscience of the business, leading the development, implementation, and embedding of a world-class safety culture. This includes designing and maintaining robust systems to capture and analyse safety metrics, fostering a proactive approach to risk management, and setting new benchmarks in health and safety performance.You will be responsible for: Developing Health & Safety StrategiesPolicy ImplementationUpholding Core Safety ValuesKeeping up-to-date with H&S legislation and industry best practices through continuous professional development.Provide Escalation SupportLead Incident Investigations:Ensure compliance with Amey’s competency framework and mandatory H&S training standards, and deliver tailored training solutions where necessary.Risk Control & ComplianceSupport Bidding ActivitiesProvide expert H&S guidance in line with Regulation 7 of MHASAWR99, offering proactive, reactive, and active support as required.Help operational directors formulate compliance and improvement plans aligned with corporate and customer H&S strategies.Drive long-term cultural change by strategically planning H&S activities and resources to ensure sustainable improvement.
